Just found out that I'm one of the fifty poets in the the Montreal Prize 2013 Global Poetry Anthology, forthcoming from Véhicule Press!  My poem, "Transit," was selected from approximately 2000 poems from 70 different countries by a stellar panel of judges: Mary Dalton, Keki N. Daruwalla, Kwame Dawes, Kendel Hippolyte, Medbh McGuckian, Sean O’Brien, Michael Harris, Robyn Sarah, Nicolette Stasko, and Chase Twichell. I'm honored and wildly excited to be among so many wonderful international poets. On Sept. 23rd, the prize judge, Don Paterson, will choose one poet among the fifty who will receive the $20,000 Montreal International Poetry Prize.  Yes, I am holding my breath.
